Courtesy of our government website the first time homebuyers threshold has gone from 375k to 425K Please see below First Time Home Buyer's Program Introduced in 1994, the First Time Home Buyers' Program is designed to help British Columbians purchase their first home. Under the program, eligible purchasers can claim an exemption from Property Transfer Tax if the fair market value of the home is less than the threshold amount.

September 11th, 2007 - - Greetings.  Yes, six years ago today the world changed.  I still remember coming home from Anchorage Alaska the morning of 9/11 and just in the nick-of-time too!  We were on a 7 day Alaska Cruise and arrived at the Vancouver airport at 4:00 AM, thank you Canada 3000 for being 9 hours behind schedule.  I still cannot fathom what happened that morning as I was glued to CNN on the TV for the entire day.  I'm sure you all distinctly remember where you were that morning as well.  It certainly looks like summer finally arrived here in the lower mainland, seems like it too is a couple of months past
